Official program for the 1947 Negro World Series between the New York Cubans and Cleveland Buckeyes. It was the only Negro World Series title for the Cuban’s Cuban-American owner Alex Pompez. The team included such Cuban stars as Lefty Tiant, Lorenzo Cabrera, Rafael Noble, Jose Maria Fernandez, Claro Duany, Orestes Minoso, Pedro Pages and Silvio Garcia.
