Born in Havana, Cuba, Cesar Brioso is a self-proclaimed "Almendarista," but he blogs about all Cuban teams. He works as an online producer in the Sports department of USA TODAY, where he formerly served as baseball editor. He's also worked as a writer or editor at The Miami Herald, (South Florida) Sun-Sentinel, Tampa Tribune and Ocala Star-Banner.
