Writing a blog can lead to writing a book

Thanks, at least in part, to my posts at Cuba Beisbol the past few years, I recently signed a contract to write a book about Cuban baseball history with University Press of Florida. The book will focus on the Cuban League in the mid-to-late 1940s and Jackie Robinson’s spring training in Havana in 1947. Very exciting. Eight chapters written so far.
